Production Automation Corporation is currently seeking an Entry-Level Software and IT Support Specialist who will provide first level technical and functional application support for programs used by our sales and marketing staff. As a Software Support Specialist you will diagnose and solve problems relating to enterprise application software, train new users, and maintain application databases. IT support will include troubleshooting issues with company applications and devices. Your duties will also include setting up new user profiles and deploying existing applications on new devices.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, possess strong communication skills (verbal & writing), and have a patient personality.
Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to: • Respond to phone and e-mail support inquiries from our users to resolve technical issues that may arise • Document and catalog resolutions to technical issues • Track and manage open tickets from initiation through resolution • Provide training and guidance to new system users
Qualifications
Experience & Training required: • Previous call center or customer service experience preferred • Basic computer software knowledge • Microsoft Office suite of applications • Ability to pass a background check • Strong analytical/troubleshooting skills
Preferred: • Knowledge and understanding of CRM software • Web application testing knowledge • SQL knowledge • Basic Networking knowledge a plus
